Seamless steel pipes are generally made by hot rolling or cold rolling of high quality carbon-bonded steel 16Mn, 5MnV or alloy steel 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2 and 40MnB. Seamless pipes made of low carbon steel such as 10 and 20 are mainly used for fluid transmission pipelines. Seamless tubes made of medium carbon steel, such as 45, 40Cr, are used to manufacture mechanical parts,such as stress parts of automobiles and tractors.Hot-rolled seamless steel pipes are divided into general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler pipes, high pressure boiler pipes, alloy steel pipes, Stainless Steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, geological steel pipes and other steel pipes.
General boiler tube use temperature below 450℃, domestic pipe mainly with 10, 20 carbon junction steel hot rolled pipe or cold drawn pipe manufacturing. High pressure boiler steel tube is often used in high temperature and high pressure conditions, the tube under the action of high temperature flue gas and water vapor, oxidation and corrosion will occur. The Steel Pipe is required to have high lasting strength, high resistance to oxidative corrosion, and good organizational stability.
General boiler pipe is mainly used to manufacture water wall pipe, boiling water pipe, superheated steam pipe, locomotive boiler with superheated steam pipe, large and small smoke pipe and arch brick pipe. High pressure boiler tube is mainly used to manufacture high pressure and super high pressure boiler superheater tube, reheater tube, guide pipe, main steam pipe, etc.
